hpdrizzle | Drizzle 2020: Submissions are due NOW!

Submissions for the drizzle 2020 fest are due today, August 15th. Below are the details on how to submit.

1. You can send your work in an email to us. Make sure all the HTML tags are in. If you need help with HTML tagging - here's a link: https://hd-writers.dreamwidth.org/416945.html

2. You can upload the work directly to the AO3 COLLECTION. If you do not know how to do this PLEASE ASK FIRST. There's also this TUTORIAL here for you.

3. Art - you can email us the art or upload it on AO3. If you don't know how to submit art - please just email us the image w/ the header and we'll take care of it. TRY NOT TO SIGN YOUR ART. (But if you must, we can't stop you.)

4. PLEASE ADD "DRIZZLE_MOD" as co-creator if you decide to upload it on ao3 yourself.

5. You'll need a header - see below. (What's a header? It's what goes on top of the link to your fic on tumblr, livejournal, and dreamwidth - so people can know what your fic/art is about). All the stories are art will only be posted on ARCHIVEOFOUROWN. (Do not reveal your art/fic on tumblr as this fest is anonymous.)

6. The email you send to us during submissions needs to have the following subject: Submission. FIC/ART. Prompt #. Author/Artist. (EXAMPLE: https://i.imgur.com/QSgafQN.png) → THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT | IT WILL MAKE MY LIFE SO MUCH EASIER, LIKE I CAN'T EVEN ;)

7. This fest is anonymous so what that means is that you can't post your fic/art anywhere until the fest is over. (OVER OVER - LIKE AFTER OCTOBER)

Please remember that fic must be at least 1000 words long and beta-read; art can be in any media or style. If you need a beta, look up beta communities on livejournal such as: hp_betas, hp_betas_wanted, find_me_a_beta, and beta_search. Or tell us if you do not have a beta! It is best to FINISH your work and look for a beta ASAP. It's harder to find a beta if you're not done with your story. Artists do not need a beta.

It's not too late to ask for an extension. If you need to drop out, that's totally ok. I'd rather you tell me you're dropping than wait for an entry that's never coming :) Drizzle is a popular, low-key fest, and dropping now isn't going to have any implications of not participating in the future.
